Getting Excited for Halloween

Kaden's Favorite day of the year is halloween. Now that there are decorations out in the stores, we have to spend an extra 30 mins looking at them all. We already have enough decorations to decorate three houses, now the problem is trying to get him to wait to put them out.

We are getting the fire pit out and make smores tonight, we've already broke out the apples and carmel and hot chocolate.

Kaden has decided he wants to be a ghost for halloween, so we are working on his costume now, but he is getting a package ready to send to his girls. He said he needed to send them some ghosts b/c that is what he was going to be. So "we" made them ghost hair clips

Working on a house is CRAZY

We've had house guests since we moved into the house. My parents, then Micah's mom, then micah's Dad and step mom.

We've been unloading boxes rearranging and entertaining, but we still have a ton to do. We've alo been trying to get acquainted with the area. So we've had a hectic couple of weeks.

We have some wonderful neighbors complete with 4 four year old boys that all go outside and pay each evening. So kaden is loving the neighborhood !

So A lot has happened since December

Things have been crazy here since December. Micah Started his Job in Virginia on March 21st. But before that we made several trips up to look at houses. We put an offer in on a perfect house for us and after about a month of stress and frustration it fell through so we had to start looking again. We went back to Virgina and found another house, which we got an amazing deal on and hope to use it as an investment house. It needed a lot of work before being move in ready, but no structual work. So We've been dealing with cabbinets, paiint colors, carpet samples, floor samples.... all of those fun things.

Then on top of that We decided to get married.... ( in two weeks). We were tired of waiting and wanted to get married before we moved to Virgina. We knew that if we wanted to have a large wedding that we had originally planned it would have been months from now... and didn't want to wait that long. So we forwent a large wedding for an intimate family wedding. In order to do that we had to drastically limit the guest list ( from 600 to about 30 ) so we obviously had to make some tough decisions and most of the poeple we really wanted there weren't able to be there. Most people were very supportive and loving about it, only a few were hurtful but that's a whole other story.

We both loved our wedding. It was a beautiful day not to hot or cold. My Aunt and Uncle let us use their home, which is simply lovely. Kaden loved his wedding and it turned out beautifuly.

In the midst of our 2 weeks to plan, while micah was working, kaden and I went to disney world and universal studios with my parents. We had a great time and we can't wait to take Micah back to visit.

The day after the wedding we packed everything up from our appartment in Cleveland and moved out. Since then we have been preparing to move to Virigina and having things done to the house.

We are also getting ready for Keri and Robbies wedding.

The movers came and packed all of our stuff up on Monday and Tuesday, they are stopping to get another load in Tn and dropping it off before they deliever ours on Monday - I'm leaving to go to Virginia tomorrow Morning . We are going to clean and finish things up on the house before all of the things make it there. Then we will have a about 4 days to unpack and fix up before we leave on Friday for Cleveland for the Wedding festivities. WE will then leave ( as a family ) for our new home in Virginia


so that should catch up ( sort of =) ) now that we are moving I should update regularly with pictures which I will as of disney, the house, and the wedding when I get more time)

Christmas Is Close =)

Christmas is getting closer, our first family Christmas thing is next Saturday and we have been getting ready for Christmas for a while now. Kaden Sang at the hanging of the green Last Sunday night, and he gets to sing all of his songs tomorrow night at church. We have our tree up, and lots of presents ( which Kaden can't wait to open) underneath it. We've made most of our presents this year so he's really excited about giving out gifts.

We woke up to snow this morning, and it was going to be our day to finish up presents ... and for me to finish up some work I have to turn in by next Sat. , but all of that got put on hold so we could go out and make a snowman and have a snowball fight. After that we came in and made Christmas treats.

We are all truly ready for Christmas, and are praying for a Christmas Miracle with Micah's Job =)
